CCTV footage has emerged of the incident in Kidangoor, Kottayam, in which Shobhana Kumari, a former headmistress of Bharatiya Vidya Mandir, died after being hit by a car driven by her husband, Muraleedhara Pillai. The incident occurred on October 30 while the car was being parked in the house car porch. Neighbours rushed her to the hospital, but she could not be saved. Police are investigating the incident.
