കൊല്ലം: യുവതിയെ ഭർതൃവീട്ടിൽ മരിച്ച നിലയിൽ കണ്ടെത്തിയതായി പോലീസ് പറയുന്നു. കൊല്ലം മാടൻനട ഭരണിക്കാവ് റജീന നിവാസിൽ അഫ്സലിന്റെ ഭാര്യ സായ ഷാജി യാണ് മരിച്ചത്. ശനി രാത്രി 8.30നായിരുന്നു സംഭവം.

വീടിനുള്ളിൽ തൂങ്ങിയ നിലയിൽ കണ്ടെത്തിയ യുവതിയെ വീട്ടുകാർ ഉടൻ പാലത്തറയിലെ സഹകരണ ആശുപത്രിയിൽ എത്തിച്ചെങ്കിലും ജീവൻ രക്ഷിക്കാനായില്ല. മുറിയിൽനിന്ന് ആത്മഹത്യാക്കുറിപ്പ് പോലീസ് കണ്ടെടുത്തതായി പോലീസ് പറയുന്നു. സാമ്പത്തിക ബാധ്യതയെ കുറിച്ച് കുറിപ്പിൽ പരാമർശമുണ്ടെന്നാണ് പ്രാഥമിക വിവരം.

A young woman was found dead at her husband's house in Kollam. Deceased is Saya Shaji (26), wife of Afsal of Regina Nivas, Bharani Kav, Madannada, Kollam. Incident on Saturday around 8:30 pm. She was found hanging inside the house and was rushed to cooperative hospital at Palathara but died. Police recovered a suicide note from the room which allegedly mentions financial liabilities. Saya is daughter of Shajahan and Rihaniya of Shajahan Building, Panchayat Office Junction, Pathanapuram. Married three years ago. Husband Afsal runs electrical shop in Kollam. Eravipuram police registered case for unnatural death and started investigation.
