പത്തനംതിട്ട: കോന്നി പോത്തുപ്പാറയിൽ ദമ്പതികൾ വിഷം കഴിച്ച് മരിച്ച നിലയിൽ കണ്ടെത്തിയതായി പൊലീസ് അറിയിച്ചു. തങ്കപ്പൻ , ഭാര്യ ഓമന എന്നിവരാണ് മരിച്ചത്.

ഇരുവരും മാത്രമാണ് വീട്ടിൽ താമസിച്ചിരുന്നത്. ഇന്ന് ഉച്ചയ്ക്ക് രണ്ട് മണിയോടെയാണ് സംഭവം നാട്ടുകാരുടെ ശ്രദ്ധയിൽപ്പെട്ടത്. അവശനിലയിൽ കിടക്കുന്ന ഇരുവരെയും കണ്ട സമീപവാസികൾ ഉടൻ തന്നെ കോന്നി താലൂക്ക് ആശുപത്രിയിൽ എത്തിച്ചെങ്കിലും ജീവൻ രക്ഷിക്കാനായില്ല. ആശുപത്രിയിൽ എത്തുന്നതിന് മുൻപ് തന്നെ മരണം സംഭവിച്ചിരുന്നതായി അധികൃതർ വ്യക്തമാക്കി.
