പിണ്ണാക്കനാട് സിഎംഎസ് കോളനിയിൽ കൊള്ളിക്കൊളവിൽ അലൻ സുനീഷ ദമ്പതികളുടെ രണ്ടാമത്തെ കുട്ടിയായ ഇവാൻ അലക്സ് ആണ് ആൾമറയില്ലാത്ത കിണറ്റിൽ വീണ് മരണപ്പെട്ടത്. വൈകിട്ട് 3 മണിയോടെയായിരുന്നു സംഭവം.

മുറ്റത്ത് കളിച്ചുനടന്ന കുട്ടിയെ കാണാതായതിനെ തുടർന്ന് നടത്തിയ അന്വേഷണത്തിലാണ് കിണറ്റിൽ കണ്ടെത്തിയത്. കിണറിന് ഉയരമുള്ള ആൾമറയില്ലാത്തതാണ് അപകട കാരണമായത്. കുട്ടിയെ ഉടൻ ഈരാറ്റുപേട്ടയിൽ നിന്നും ഫയർഫോഴ്സെത്തി പുറത്തെടുത്തെങ്കിലും ജീവൻ രക്ഷിക്കാനായില്ല.

കിണറ്റിൽ പാമ്പിനെ കണ്ടതായി രക്ഷാപ്രവർത്തകർ പറഞ്ഞെങ്കിലും വെള്ളത്തിൽ വീണാണ് മരണമെന്നാണ് നിഗമനം. ഈരാറ്റുപേട്ടയിലെ സ്വകാര്യ ആശുപത്രിയിലുള്ള മൃതദേഹം പോസ്റ്റ്മോർട്ടത്തിനായി കോട്ടയം മെഡിക്കൽ കോളേജ് ആശുപത്രിയിലേക്ക് മാറ്റുമെന്ന് വാർഡ് മെമ്പർ ജോസുകുട്ടി പറഞ്ഞു.

Child was playing in courtyard and went missing around 3 pm, later found in well without high parapet. Fire force from Erattupetta retrieved child but could not save life.
