തിരുവനന്തപുരം: വെങ്ങാനൂരില്‍ ആഹാരം കഴിക്കുന്നതിനിടെ കുഴഞ്ഞു വീണ് നഴ്‌സിങ് വിദ്യാര്‍ത്ഥി മരിച്ചു. കെഎസ്ആര്‍ടിസി ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥനായ സതീശന്റെ മകള്‍ വൃന്ദയാണ് മരിച്ചത്.

കുഴഞ്ഞുവീണ ഉടന്‍ മെഡിക്കല്‍ കോളജില്‍ എത്തിച്ചെങ്കിലും മരണം സംഭവിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു. തിരുവനന്തപുരം മെഡിക്കല്‍ കോളജിലെ അഞ്ചാം വര്‍ഷ നഴ്‌സിംഗ് വിദ്യാര്‍ഥിനിയാണ് വൃന്ദ. മുറിയില്‍ നിന്ന് മയങ്ങാനുള്ള മരുന്നുകള്‍ കണ്ടെടുത്തിട്ടുണ്ട്.
