സരിയ പൊലീസ് സ്റ്റേഷൻ പരിധിയിലുള്ള ചിരുവ- കപിലോയിലെ അപ്‌ഗ്രേഡഡ് ഹൈസ്കൂളിലെ എട്ടാം ക്ലാസ് വിദ്യാർത്ഥിനികളായ സാഹിദ ഖാത്തൂൺ (13), ഗുലാബ്ഷ പ്രവീൺ (14) എന്നിവരെയാണ് മരിച്ച നിലയിൽ കണ്ടെത്തിയതെന്ന് പൊലീസ് പറഞ്ഞു. വെള്ളിയാഴ്ച്ച രാവിലെ വൈകിയാണ് രണ്ട് പെൺകുട്ടികളും സ്കൂളിൽ എത്തിയത്.

ഇവരോട് തിരികെ വീട്ടിലേക്ക് പോയി രക്ഷിതാക്കളോടൊപ്പം വരാൻ ഒരു അധ്യാപകൻ നി‌ർദേശിച്ചിരുന്നതായി പൊലീസ് പറഞ്ഞു. എന്നാൽ പിന്നീട് കുട്ടികളെ മരിച്ച നിലയിൽ കണ്ടെത്തുകയായിരുന്നുവെന്ന് ബഗോദർ സരിയ എസ്ഡിപിഒ ധനഞ്ജയ് റാം പറഞ്ഞു.
