**കൊച്ചി:** എറണാകുളത്ത് വാഹനാപകടത്തിൽ ഒരു മരണം. എറണാകുളം ഫോർട്ട് കൊച്ചി സ്വദേശി പി.ജെ മേരിഷിനിയാണ് മരിച്ചത്.

സംസ്ഥാന ആരോഗ്യ വകുപ്പിൽ പാർട് ടൈം സ്വീപ്പറായിരുന്നു. ഇന്ന് ഉച്ചകഴിഞ്ഞാണ് അപകടം നടന്നത്. തേവര ജങ്ഷനിൽ വച്ചാണ് അപകടം ഉണ്ടായത്.

മേരിഷിനി സഞ്ചരിച്ച ഇരുചക്രവാഹനം ലോറിയുമായി കൂട്ടിയിടിച്ചാണ് അപകടം. ഗുരുതരമായി പരിക്കേറ്റ യുവതിയെ ഉടൻ തന്നെ ആശുപത്രിയിൽ പ്രവേശിപ്പിച്ചെങ്കിലും ജീവൻ രക്ഷിക്കാനായില്ല.
