കോട്ടയം: കാഞ്ഞിരപ്പള്ളി-എരുമേലി റോഡിൽ കൊരട്ടിയിൽ കാറും ബൈക്കും കൂട്ടിയിടിച്ച് ബൈക്ക് യാത്രികൻ മരിച്ചു. 

തിരുവനന്തപുരം ഊരാളിക്കോണം സ്വദേശി ബഷീറുദ്ദീൻ (74) ആണ് മരിച്ചത്. കൊരട്ടി കാന്താരിവളവിന് സമീപം തിങ്കളാഴ്ച വൈകീട്ടായിരുന്നു അപകടം.

എരുമേലിയിലെ സ്വകാര്യ ആശുപത്രിയിലും കോട്ടയം മെഡിക്കൽ കോളേജ് ആശുപത്രിയിലും പ്രവേശിപ്പിച്ചെങ്കിലും രാത്രി 11-ഓടെ മരണം സ്ഥിരീകരിച്ചു.

കാഞ്ഞിരപ്പള്ളിയിലെ ബന്ധു വീട്ടിലേക്ക് എത്തിയതായിരുന്നു ബഷീറുദ്ദീൻ.
