എലിക്കുളം സ്വദേശി ഉഷ ചന്ദ്രനാണ് (58) അപകടത്തിൽ പരിക്കേറ്റത്. ഇവരെ ചേർപ്പുങ്കൽ മാർ സ്ലീവാ മെഡിസിറ്റിയിൽ പ്രവേശിപ്പിച്ചു. 

ഉച്ച കഴിഞ്ഞ് 2.30യോടെ പാലാ പൊൻകുന്നം റൂട്ടിൽ അഞ്ചാം മൈൽ ഭാ​ഗത്ത് വെച്ചാണ് അപകടമുണ്ടായത്.
