ആനയെ ലോറിയിൽനിന്ന് ഇറക്കുമ്പോഴാണ് ഇടഞ്ഞത്. ആന ഓടാൻതുടങ്ങുന്നതിനുമുമ്പ് എലിഫെന്റ് സ്ക്വാഡും പാപ്പാന്മാരും ചേർന്ന് ആനയുടെ പിൻകാലുകൾ കൂച്ചുവിലങ്ങിട്ട് തളച്ചു.
