**തൃശൂര്‍:** തൃശൂര്‍ പുത്തൂരിനടുത്ത് കൈനൂർ ചിറയിൽ നാല് പേർ മുങ്ങിമരിച്ചു. അബി ജോണ്‍, അര്‍ജുന്‍ അലോഷ്യസ്, നിവേദ് കൃഷ്ണ, സിയാദ് ഹുസൈന്‍ എന്നിവരാണ് മരിച്ചത്.

അബി ജോൺ സെന്റ് എൽത്തുരത്ത് സെന്റ് അലോഷ്യസ് കോളേജിലെ ഡിഗ്രി വിദ്യാർത്ഥിയും മറ്റുള്ളവർ തൃശൂർ സെന്റ് തോമസ് കോളേജിലെ ബിരുദ വിദ്യാർത്ഥികളുമാണ്.

ഇന്ന് ഉച്ചയ്ക്ക് രണ്ടര മണിയോടെയാണ് അപകടമുണ്ടായത്. കുളിക്കാന്‍ ഇറങ്ങിയപ്പോഴാണ് അപകടമുണ്ടായതെന്ന് പൊലീസ് അറിയിച്ചു.

ഒഴുക്കില്‍പ്പെട്ട ഒരു വിദ്യാര്‍ത്ഥിയെ രക്ഷിക്കാന്‍ ശ്രമിക്കുന്നതിനിടെയാണ് മറ്റുള്ളവരുടെ അപകടത്തില്‍പ്പെട്ടത്.

ഫയര്‍ഫോഴ്‌സ് എത്തിയാണ് മൃതദേഹങ്ങള്‍ പുറത്തെടുത്തത്. മൃതദേഹങ്ങള്‍ തൃശൂർ ജില്ലാ ആശുപത്രിയിലേക്ക് മാറ്റി.
